Kayak Tour
Allaman Nyon

Spectacular Itinerary
March 15 to October 30

Start from the peaceful beach of Allaman for a kayak trip along the Vaud shore of Lake Geneva, where nature, heritage, and vineyards come together.

As you paddle, you’ll follow the shoreline and pass through charming villages. In Perroy, you may spot the Venoge, a traditional boat emblematic of the lake. Soon after, you’ll reach Rolle, with its picturesque castle and the postcard-perfect Île de la Harpe.

Further on, nature takes over near Gland, where forests and green spaces stretch between the houses. As you approach Nyon, the majestic villa known as “Napoleon’s Villa,” surrounded by its vast park, reveals itself from the lake.

The excursion ends at Nyon’s pier, just steps away from the castle, the old town, and the lakefront promenade.

Along the way, local wildlife makes an appearance: swans, herons, tufted ducks, and great crested grebes glide around your kayak. With a bit of luck, you might even catch sight of a beaver or a brightly colored kingfisher.

Covering around 10 to 12 kilometers, this outing offers a unique experience, with opportunities for a refreshing swim if the weather allows, or a picnic in a setting that is both tranquil and spectacular.
